Learn2ride Q-Ride Mackay Pre-Learner course.

The Learn2ride Q-Ride pre learner course is designed to help new riders gain basic riding knowledge and motorcycle handling skills in a safe environment before learning to ride on the road. Designed for people with no riding experience the course covers the basics of riding including protective gear, riding curves, controlled braking and good roadcraft. The prelearner course contains 34 modules that are delivered over a minimum of 2 days.

What course is for me?

  • If you have held a Provisional or Open car licence and have held it for more than 1 year the 2 day Pre Learner course and motorcycle knowledge test is what you need to do to get your L-RE (motorcycle  Learner Permit )

  • If you have your L-RE(motorcycle Learner Permit) but very little riding experience the Pre Learner  Day1 and  Day 2 is what is recommended for you.

  • If you have your L-RE (motorcycle learner permit), extensive off-road experience, some on road experience and understand roadcraft the Learner to RE course is what you will need to book in for.

  • If you already hold a Provisional or Open RE licence, suitable riding experience and have held the licence for more than 2 years you can upgrade to a R (unrestricted licence)
